National Night Out

National Night Out is an annual community-building program that promotes strong police-community partnerships by bringing together neighborhoods with community events held on the first Tuesday of August. The events are typically hosted by a committee of individuals as block parties, festivals, parades, or cookouts.

In 2022 United Way, sponsored by UPMC Health Plan, funded six community events at the following locations:
· Clintonville Borough
· Christ United Methodist Church, Franklin
· Franklin Heights Playground
· Grace United Methodist Church, Oil City
· St. Elizabeth Center, Oil City
· Wyllis Street, Oil City

Through the six events over 1,500 residents came together to celebrate our small communities and our police force, firemen, game commission, and EMTs.
