According to the ALICE (Asset-Limited, Income- Constrained, Employed) report, released by United Way of PA in 2018, 41% of Venango County residents are living at or below the ALICE income threshold.

With the decline of the economic conditions over the past couple of years, this percentage continues to increase, leaving more households needing assistance from United Way or our Community Partners. United Way is dedicated to ensuring all individuals in Venango County’s basic needs are met. United Way also continues to work to decrease dependency patterns and to assure support for under-employed individuals to allow room for success and self-efficiency.

United Way is fighting to allow individuals and families to achieve financial independence by supporting their ability to work.
